Lund, Clark, Magstadt, Currie elected to AARC Board
Mike Lund, manager of Herberger’s Department Store, was elected
chairperson of the Abused Adult Resource Center (AARC) Board of Directors
during the agency’s annual meeting on Monday, Jan. 28, at the Kelly
Inn in Bismarck.
Lund also was re-elected to a three-year term on the board. Other officers
elected during reorganization were vice chairperson Bon Wikenheiser, director,
North Dakota Small Business Development Centers; and treasurer Dave Clark,
executive vice president at Bismarck State College. Continuing as secretary
is Jennifer Gladden, human resources officer at the North Dakota Department
of Commerce.
Three new members were elected to the board: Clark; Kevin Magstadt, community
development manager at Montana-Dakota Utilities Co.; and Justin Currie,
internal audit manager at BNC National Bank.
Honored for more than nine years of service were board members Karen
McCormick and Kevin Stadler, who each completed maximum terms on the board.
Other members on the AARC board are Sharon Klein, manager of Human Resources,
Basin Electric Power Cooperative; attorney Irv Nodland of Nodland Law
Offices; and Aruna Seth, founder of Gandhi Peace Network of North Dakota.
Program speaker at the annual meeting was Bismarck Police Chief Keith
Witt.
The AARC is a Bismarck-based nonprofit serving victims of domestic violence
and sexual assault and their families in a seven-county area in south-central
