Commonly held beliefs about victims, their families, adult
and juvenile offenders, and the meaning of consent all play important
roles in how sexual assault cases are understood and handled in our culture.
Conference speakers will present information on identifying challenges
and then suggesting appropriate responses.
PRESENTERS
- Anne Munch is a former prosecutor
for the Denver District Attorney’s office, which included a rotation
in the felony domestic violence and sexual assault unit. She now consults
in the areas of sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking.
- Dr. Wayne Duehn joined the faculty at the University
of Texas at Arlington in 1970 and is a recognized authority and educator
in the intervention and treatment of sexually abusive families.
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
The registration fee is $100, including materials and
health breaks. Pre-registration is required. Registration deadline is
Friday March 28, 2008.
