Please come and join us for our 2nd Annual Galentine’s Day Brunch, and show support to survivors of domestic violence transitioning to permanent housing to make a fresh start. We are offering a delicious brunch, cocktail, a chocolate grazing table, and a swag bag with goodies for you. Let’s celebrate our gal pals and female friendships, and acknowledge the importance and impact these relationships have in our lives.
Survivors of domestic violence often flee their homes with what they can carry with them, which means many of those who transition to permanent housing are moving into unfurnished homes, and are sometimes literally sleeping on the floor. You can go to the FRESH START tab on this website to purchase an item or package to help them with their fresh start!
A “Fresh Start” Basket provides survivors with household necessities for their transition to permanent housing so they can start off strong, create homes that are comfortable, and meet their family’s needs. Last year we raised $6,000, which gave 12 survivors a fresh start basket!
Our Mission is to provide the women and families we serve with “A Fresh Start” Basket filled with household items they need to start over in their own homes.
Event tickets are $50 each. Tickets can be purchased online at aarcfreshstart.com.
(There are no printed tickets. You will just give your name upon check-in).
