Job Overview: Supervise visitation and exchanges for families. Schedule visitation and exchange dates for families utilizing the Family Safety Center (FSC). Ensure safety at all times for the families using the service. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the FSC.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervise and observe visitations.
- Document visitations and exchanges.
- Answer calls, document and return calls as needed.
- Conduct interventions when needed during supervised visits.
- Clean and organize the center as needed.
- Other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school education, prefer some college.
- Experience with children and family dynamics is a requirement.
- Must be comfortable using conflict resolution skills and be flexible.
- Must be mature, confident, observant and responsible.
- Must be able to physically do basic cleaning chores.
- Have an understanding of child development.
- Must be able to identify abuse or neglect of children.
Hours/Compensation: This is a part time position; hours may vary and are not on a set schedule. Generally, 10-15 hours a week. The hours are afternoons, evenings and weekends. The compensation for the position is $15/hour.
