During difficult times, the Family Safety Center offers families the opportunity to have safe and healthy parenting time with their children. The Family Safety Center was created for families experiencing safety issues due to domestic violence. It has since expanded to meet the need for families with custody disputes and loss of legal responsibility for their children during a foster care placement. Our highest priority is the safety of children and the significant adults involved in their lives. It is our mission to treat every individual regardless of family circumstances, with respect and fairness while taking into account any violence or abuse that has occurred in order to provide safety during parenting time or exchanges. When needed FSC staff will help families to access meaningful services that may assist them in having safe and healthy parenting time with their children.
