Zainhofsky Retiring as AARC Executive Director

Diane Zainhofsky, who has been with the Abused Adult Resource Center (AARC) since 1980 and the Executive Director since 1987, has announced plans to retire from the AARC.

Her retirement will be effective on June 30, 2019.

The AARC Board of Directors has appointed Michelle Erickson as Interim Executive Director. The board indicated Michelle now has full authority as Executive Director until a permanent Executive Director is found. Erickson, who has been with AARC since 2005, will continue in her job as Direct Services Supervisor for now as well.

The Board has started a search process to hire a permanent Executive Director. The position is open to internal and external candidates. Anyone interested in applying should submit a letter and resume to [email protected].

The Board hopes to have a permanent Executive Director hired by or before June 30.

The AARC is a nonprofit serving survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and families in a seven-county area in south-central North Dakota.
